Indie rock band Glass Animals released their eagerly awaited fourth album,” I Love You So F**ing Much” through Republic Records. This latest work features the new single “Show Pony,” which the band premiered with a mesmerizing performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The album offers a deeply personal exploration of love in its many forms, showcasing the most intimate songwriting from frontman Dave Bayley. Each track on the album delves into different facets of love, from childhood innocence to the complexities of romance and heartache.

“I love you so fing much, I LOVE YOU SO FING MUCH, I love you SO fing MUCH, I love you so FING much, I LOVE you so f***ing MUCH,” Bayley said. “These words change meaning every time they’re spoken. Even in a vast universe that makes us feel small, the connections between humans are profound and mysterious. Love appears in countless forms and can transform lives in an instant.”

“I Love You So F**ing Much” presents a wide-ranging emotional journey, enhanced by retro-futuristic production. The album opens with “Show Pony,” a vivid depiction of a relationship’s evolution. “Our earliest concepts of love come from the relationships we see growing up,” Bayley explained. “They might be flawed, but they shape our understanding of love. ‘Show Pony’ starts the album because it immerses you in the deep end—just like life.”

The genesis of “I Love You So F**ing Much” was deeply personal for Bayley, stemming from his experience of sudden fame and self-discovery during the pandemic. Isolated in a cliffside house during a historic California storm, Bayley faced existential questions about love and human connection.

This introspection led to the realization that “the connections between humans and the love we share are more significant and complex than anything else.” As Glass Animals prepare to share their new album with the world, they send a heartfelt message to their fans—and perhaps to themselves: I Love You So F**ing Much.
