Childish Gambino unveils The New World Tour dates after 5-year hiatus

The multi-talented Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) is making his return to music with an album release and a 2024 New World Tour.

After a five-year hiatus from touring, the enigmatic musical force known as Childish Gambino has announced his The New World Tour. The tour will span North America, Europe, and Australasia, marking his first extensive trek since 2019. Joining him on select dates are rising stars Amaarae and Willow, promising a dynamic and diverse lineup for fans worldwide.

Donald Glover’s return to the spotlight comes hot on the heels of his latest musical offering, Atavista. Released this week, the album represents a refined version of his 2020 record, ‘3.15.20’. His tour announcement coincides with the reemergence of Glover’s musical alter ego, signaling a reinvigorated phase of his career. Childish Gambino’s tour will have stops in major cities like Washington D.C., New York, and Chicago. On the international front, he will hit dozens of cities including Amsterdam, London, and Berlin.

The last time Childish Gambino graced the stage, he was riding high on the success of the internet-shattering single “This Is America”.  His EP Summer Pack also garnered critical acclaim, following the monumental success of his 2016 album ‘Awaken, My Love!’. Since then, Glover has kept busy, primarily in the realm of film and television.
