How Azyr is Supporting The Revival of Industrial Techno
In just three years, Azyr has taken the techno scene by storm with his dark sound and restless performances.
Oliver Rowley, also known as Azyr, has been crafting music and shows that embody underground techno. The artist has delved into electronic music with vigorous beats and contagious rhythms that keep listeners bouncing. After making his Boiler Room debut at Teletech Festival in August 2023, Azyr had raked in millions of views and streams with an intriguing and energetic set.
Azyr has only continued to rise after releasing ‘Speed Masters’ last year. With seven tracks of fast-paced, hard-hitting beats, the EP encapsulates the producer’s current era of music. With roots in industrial techno, Azyr has branched out to its subgenres and experimented with hard dance, psytrance, and more.
As Azyr continues into 2024, he has kept his promise to keep the energy at full throttle. The artist hit the scene running and has not slowed down since, playing several shows every month. He has been outspoken about his goal to take his music around the world and is quickly making his way there with strings of sold-out shows.
The DJ/producer is based in the United Kingdom where he began his musical journey. He gained recognition around England and Scotland in 2021 when he played in cities like Manchester and Glasglow for the first time. Since then, he has primarily played around Europe and recently traveled to Australia for shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
With support from artists like Sara Landry, 999999999, and LESSSS, Azyr is becoming a producer to watch. He will begin March with a show in Slovenia, followed by performances in Austria, Manchester, and more. Check out his official social media for more information on his tour schedule.
Azyr is also set to play at Terminal V Festival this April. Regarding his upcoming shows, Azyr has told fans to “expect a [ton] of new material with the same relentless energy.” Watch Azyr’s Boiler Room debut here:
