As dance music continues to reach new heights, there are some standout dance music artists to watch in 2024 who are pushing the envelope with their unique sounds

The electronic music scene continually shifts forward with new producers raising the bar and offering a fresh new take on dance music. From house and techno to dubstep and bass, each genre has seen massive growth in its own regard during 2023. Festivals continue to promote rising new artists by offering finely tuned lineups with impressive undercards while larger labels continue to champion blossoming acts by exploring new talent.

Levity

Levity broke into the scene this year in a massive way. Between their surprise (and unplanned) Electric Forest performance at the Honeycomb stage and viral hit single “Flip It” dominating stages and social media, the Chicago-based duo exploded into the limelight with their vibrant sounds and high-energy creations.

Layla Benitez

Space Miami resident and queen of the underground Layla Benitez has been catching steam over the past few years. She had many outstanding performances in 2024 including Exit Festival, Circoloco Ibiza at DC 10, Afterlife and Solomun support slots, as well as a massive fall tour. Her most recent release “Toxic Trip” demonstrates her techno prowess and positions her for a bright and promising 2024.

Hamdi

Many dance music fans had Hamdi’s hypnotizing tune “Counting” plastered on their minds for a good portion of 2023. With performances at Lost Lands, Rampage, Red Rocks, HARD Summer, and more, the UK producer showed he was ready to take over the scene. With nearly half a million monthly Spotify listeners, Hamdi is a name you won’t want to sleep on in 2024.

Korolova

Ukrainian artist Korolova took her talents around the globe this year to cities like Tulum, Dubai, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and so many more. She dominated the festival circuit with performances at Tomorrowland, Seismic Dance Event, EDC Orlando, and supported Franky Wah on tour. Korolova’s releases landed among top labels such as REALM, Shen, Tomorrowland Music, and more. Her collab with Goodboys reached 2 million streams on Spotify since its release and graced many stages across the world.

Disfreq

Disfreq came to dominate in 2023 with their debut album ‘Picture: Disfreq’ and a handful of releases that followed. The Irish duo’s sultry techno soundscape has earned them plenty of recognition in the past year with performances at Solomun’s Diynmaic Festival, CRSSD, and supporting Eli Brown on his North American tour. Their carefully crafted techno beats have garnered support from the genre’s leaders like Adam Beyer, Tale of Us, Solomun, and more.

Nala

Dirtybird Records mainstay Nala had her most monumental year yet with performances at Coachella, Life is Beautiful, Outside Lands, and EDC Las Vegas, to name only a few. In addition to her impressive roundup of performances, her musical output for the year included releases on Solomun’s Diynamic label and Club Sweat with a handful of mesmerizing remixes. Mary Droppinz

Mary Droppinz’ edgy and complex sound profile has garnered a vast fanbase for the Los Angeles-based producer. She supported and collaborated with fellow house music creator VNSSA and delivered an iconic remix of Destructo and Snoop Dog’s track “YODO”. Her festival performances included Groove Cruise, Electric Zoo, Off The Grid Campout, Wakaan Fest, and more. She recently announced a massive headlining tour dubbed ‘The Cycle Tour’ which includes stops in Brooklyn, Miami, and Washington DC, as well as festivals like Friendship, Ill Fest, and Igloo Fest. Polar Inc.

With beautiful melodic soundscapes, Polar Inc.’s compositions have landed him across Anjunadeep, Armada, and This Never Happened. With his biggest year yet in 2023, Polar Inc.’s breathtaking discography earned him 21 million streams on Spotify including nearly 2 million for the Piece Wise and Francis Skyes collab “Memories”. Building his fanbase globally, the producer just announced his debut North American tour for January 2024.

Juliet Fox

Australian techno queen Juliet Fox rose to the occasion throughout 2023 with performances at Tomorrowland, Ultra’s RESISTANCE, Amsterdam Dance Event, Sonus Festival, and more. She also landed a Times Square billboard ahead of her sold-out show in Brooklyn at Superior Ingredients. Juliet Fox continued to build her own imprint Tregambe as well as releasing on Nicole Moudaber’s IN THE MOOD and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode.

Electric Polar Bears

Electric Polar Bears used 2023 as a warm-up for what promises to be an even better year in 2024. With collaboration with Deorro and a remix for Paris Hilton, the star power that exudes Electric Polar Bears became evident this year. The masked duo took the stage at Winter Laserland, Give Thanks Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, and more. The pair is slated to ring in the new year at Decadence in Arizona as their career continues to blossom and thrive.
