A Look Back at the Top Five Memories of Electric Zoo 2023

Take a look back at Labor Day’s Electric Zoo Festival and the top five memories of the weekend.

As the year is coming into its last quarter, Electric Zoo 2023 was a fantastic beginning to the end. Here at Exron Music, we had the privilege of attending the New York staple, and a week after we have compiled our top five parts of the festival weekend.

1. Strong lineup acts for Saturday and Sunday

Even though the first day was cut due to construction issues, festival-goers were able to experience two incredibly jam-packed days with artists like Tiësto, Alison Wonderland, Zedd, Elderbrook, and many more artists.

2. Great Stage Variety

With five grand stages throughout the festival, attendees could hear any artists they wanted to at any time. While there were concerns about sound bleeding between stages, the team behind EZoo, Avant Gardner, was able to construct and place the stages in a way that made each area soundproof from the other musical areas. Seeing the Convergence Stage fully built was breathtaking and had amazing visuals for the crowd to go crazy.

3. Positive vibes from staff and attendees

Even though there was slight disappointment over Friday’s events being canceled, all of that melted away when people stepped through the gates and entered the zoo. All of the staff eagerly welcomed festival-goers with smiles and helped bring a wonderful atmosphere to the weekend. All the worries people had melted away when the music started playing and people were genuinely happy to be around one another celebrating music together.

4. Honest Communication from vendors

It takes a lot of guts to have honest communication with attendees from a festival about difficulties that can go on behind the scenes. Avant Gardner was able to appropriately address what was going on with the delays in building the main stage and provided monetary reimbursements throughout the weekend to people who couldn’t attend the festival on Friday and Sunday.

5. GRiZ’s intense performance

When GRiZ announced an indefinite break back in June, many fans were sad to hear about this departure from music. But before he takes this break, the much loved DJ promised to finish out his shows for the year. His b2b set at EZoo with Zeds Dead was one of the most anticipated events of the weekend and the show that was put on just further verifies why there will never be another like GRiZ.

Even with the hiccups that occurred, the festival was able to pull off a strong weekend that nobody will forget. With another year of EZoo written in the books, Exron Music looks forward to seeing what wonderful things this festival has in store for the future. Let us know in the comments below what your top five moments of EZoo 2023 were if you attended this year’s festival.
