After nearly a decade since their last 2013 EP ‘My Friends Never Die,’ ODESZA announces that they are dropping a new “psychedelic indie-dance” EP. In an exciting turn of events, the renowned electronic music duo surprised their fans over the weekend by making an unexpected announcement on social media.
The duo also revealed that they have recently wrapped up the production of a captivating record, delighting fans even further. Just a few days later, they officially unveiled the title of the highly anticipated EP, a remarkable collaboration with Yellow House called “Flaws In Our Design” and revealed the title of their lead single “Heavier.” In addition, the band added that working with Yellow House was an experience that sparked synergy. They shared that “there was instant chemistry and what was honestly meant to be a track or two resulted in this beautiful 6-track EP.”
The first track gives the fans a magical glimpse of the new record. The mesmerizing indie-tronica dance track captures the essence of ODEDZA’s haunting and evocative sound design.
