ZHU Finally Unveils Upcoming ‘The Grace Tour’ Dates Ahead of Highly Anticipated Album
It’s time to get ‘faded’ again: American music producer ZHU hits the road with ‘The Grace Tour,’ his first headlining stint in five years.
Steven Zhu, better known by his stage name ZHU, is back and ready to cause some revelations (and no, not just because that’s the title of his newest single, featuring Devault and BabyJake). The electronic music producer, singer, designer, and general creative connoisseur returns to the stage this year with ‘The Grace Tour,’ hitting major North American cities from September through November.
The tour kicks off in Toronto, Ontario on September 14 before wrapping with a two-night stint at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California. Other major stops include Brooklyn, Nashville, Chicago, and San Francisco. Channel Tres (DJ Set), Claptone, Hayden James, and Noizu will all provide support at various stops throughout the tour.
But that’s not all: In addition to touring, ZHU is set to drop a new album this year with ‘Revelations’ being the first single off the new work. The tour announcement also comes on the heels of the track ‘Fatal (Mortal Kombat 1),’ the artist’s collaboration with the legendary video game franchise. The track acts as the backdrop for all gameplay matches.
‘The Grace Tour’ isn’t the only time you can catch ZHU on the road; this summer, the producer is hitting the festival circuit as well. After playing Lightning in a Bottle over Memorial Day weekend, ZHU is also slated to perform at Bumbershoot in Washington state and Goldrush in Arizona.
ZHU has been a major player in the electronic music game since 2014, with the release of his Grammy-nominated single ‘Faded’ off his first mixtape ‘THE NIGHTDAY,’ also featuring popular track ‘Cocaine Model.’ 2016 saw the release of ZHU’s debut album entitled ‘GENERATIONWHY’ with hit song ‘Working For It’ featuring Skrillex and THEY. His most recent album release, ‘Musical Chairs Mixtape (Vol. 1),’ came out in 2022.
The hype around ‘The Grace Tour’ has already been growing; in fact, ZHU played a free pop-up DJ set last weekend at the Brooklyn Mirage open to all presale ticket buyers for the September 21 New York date. Presale began Tuesday, June 20 while general on-sale tickets go live this Friday, June 23 at 10 AM local time. Check out the artist website for more info.
