EDC Las Vegas Will Feature Full-Service Beauty Bars at Upcoming Edition

A new beauty experience is coming to EDC meant to bring out the colors that embody the energy/spirit of you – offering rave hairdos and intricate makeup styles right inside the festival.

Major electronic dance music brand Insomniac and bold makeup brand Lime Crime Cosmetics have collaborated to bring Volta Beauty to debut the next era of festival beauty bar experiences, offering an array of colorful make-up and hair color that is vegan and cruelty-free. There will be six Volta beauty bars available across the festival with several different services to choose from. May 19 will be the official launch of the Volta brand at EDC.

Volta Beauty will be serving up signature makeup and hair makeovers by industry professionals. The signature makeup menu includes “Glitter Glow Up,” a quick glittery eye look with gems, “Kaleidoscopic,” a dimensional eye and lip look with gems, glitter, pigment, lashes, and lip color, and “Seeing Technicolor,” a graphic eye/lip look including gems eye pigment, eyeshadows, lashes, eyeliner, and lip color. Along with “Electric Party,” a bright eye and lip look with bright eyeshadow, gems, glitter, lashes, eyeliner, and lip color. Lastly “Kandi Kween,” offers a customized full-face makeup over.

The hairstyles to choose from are “Singles Party,” a high ponytail braid with glitter and colored hair extensions. “Double Up Daisy,” which includes two braids, buns, or puffs, with hair colorful hair extensions and glitter. Or “Carnival Custom,” which “slays your way” with your choice of a customized hairstyle and colorful hair extensions.

The services are broken up into 3 tiers Good, Better, and Best. Each tier offers a makeup and hair section. Good includes a $30 “Glitter Glow Up,” a 30-minute makeup service, or $40 “Singles Party”, a 30-minute service with individual braids, buns, puffs with glitter, and colorful hair extensions. Better includes $65 “Volta Signature Looks,” a 45-minutes service with a choice of one of the signature makeup looks, or $75 “Double Up Daisy,” a 45-minute service with a move extensive hair braid or bun style. Best includes  $100 “Kandi Kween,” a customized 1-hour makeup service, or $150 “Carnival Custom,” a customized 1-hour hairstyle.
