Printworks May Return to the Same Venue in 2026

Printworks have announced that they expect to see the venue return in 2026.

This past weekend, Printworks London officially held its last official run of events. However, whilst the night was coming to an end, a message or rather an announcement popped up on the screen. Before a closing performance from Bicep, a set of random letters unscrambled to reveal a hopeful message: ‘See You In 2026 – Printworks 2.0’. The entire place erupted after reading the message with hopes to see the great venue return to the Press Halls within three years.

After recently receiving the second-best club in the world, the former printing factory has been hosting world-known DJs for years. Back in 2017, the first official party took place, featuring The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, and Loco Dice. Over the years, almost every superstar DJ has made their imprint in the massive warehouse. The venue has hosted parties from Tale of Us, Nina Kravitz, Honey Dijon, Erick Morillo, Charlotte de Witte, and more.

Last year, Printworks announced it would be officially closing the club down to the public. The building is going to be redeveloped into office blocks by its owner British Land. The venue hosted a four-month-long season to honor all of the memories made in the iconic venue. Some of the closing weekend sets consisted of Bicep, Peggy Gou, Andy C, Camelphat, and Black Coffee.

Simeon Aldred, director of strategy at Broadwick Live, said: “We are delighted to announce that Printworks hopes to return in three years and that we will continue to work with our partners at British Land to create the future cultural venue that retains the essence of the iconic Press Halls.” He continued, “Printworks has brought lasting impact to our scene, to our city, to artists, and our local community.” “The future Printworks venue aims to build on this, bringing together all the best in all electronic music and visual arts, both as well as hosting some of the world’s best orchestras, ballet companies, and other art forms.”

The final Printworks shows demonstrated both its importance and impact within the dance community. Printworks isn’t just a club, it’s a movement that guides people into the unknown of dance music. All in all, this isn’t a forever goodbye but a “see you later” for now.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
