Subtronics Celebrates Career-Defining Moment After Sold Out Kia Forum Show
Subtronics recently headlined and sold out LA’s 9,000-person venue, the Kia Forum.
On January 28 genre-bending bass music artist Subtronics sold out the 9,000+ capacity Kia Forum, an unprecedented achievement. A legendary event, the show marks the first time a bass producer has ever sold out the arena.
Subtronics, born Jesse Kardon, showcased both his artistry through his music and stage production. His unique reflective DJ table was designed specifically for his tour. Behind him, hung a 40 ft wide x 24 ft high LED with a connecting LED wall angled overhead. This screen setup helped create a fully immersive visual experience for the lucky show attendees. The stage was adorned with a plethora of lasers and the room featured additional lasers mounted on a circular rig above the crowd, adding a stunning 360° effect. The 90-minute set featured fan favorites from Subtronics’ catalog and his last two albums: FRACTALS and ANTIFRACTALS.
Furthermore, the Kia Forum show was part of Subtronic’s Antifractal tour. The tour consists of brand new production and is scheduled with a total of 35 shows. The shows are set to go until mid-March with the possibility of new shows being scheduled.
Joining Subtronics on the road this year are special guests Getter, PEEKABOO, and Virtual Riot. The dubstep and bass music superstar will also be supported by some of the hottest and up-and-coming artists in the bass music scene. These artists include Blanke, Kompany, A Hundred Drums, Leotrix, MUST DIE! and VEIL, among others.
Subtronics is off to an amazing start this year with so much left to offer to his fans. The Kia Forum show was a huge step in the right direction and the Antifractal tour is the cherry on top.
