Martin Garrix Takes Daring Flight in F-16 Jet
Martin Garrix teams up with the air national guard at their base in Arizona to take his first flight in an F-16 fighter jet.
The number one DJ in the world: Martin Garrix crosses one more thing off his bucket list as he takes flight in an F-16 fighter jet. Garrix traveled to the Morris National Guard Air Base in Arizona for some training and flying time. The producer shared a video on his youtube of his time on this insane journey.
Prior to visiting the base in the U.S. Garrix made an appearance at the Volkel Air Base in The Netherlands to get a physical examination prior to his flight. The doctor mentioned how important it was for his body to be healthy for the flight as it can be intense on the body. Luckily, Garrix’s vitals were good and he was given the green light for his journey to the U.S. base for training.
Next, Garrix started his training at the base in Arizona which is home to the largest Air National Guard Base in the United States. A member of the airforce discussed what the crew must do the hours before and moments leading up to the flight to ensure a safe and successful ride. Garrix proceeded to get his aircrew flight equipment training and got suited up in his G-suit.
Garrix proceeded to hop into the co-pilot seat and begins his ascent into the stratosphere. During the flight he pulled 9g not once but twice which impressed his pilot, considering most people throw up or pass out prior to even one. At the end of his flight, Martin commented about how much fun he had and what an amazing experience this was for him.
