Fans Share Most Disturbing Moments from EDC Las Vegas 2022

Your jaw will drop reading people’s wildest experiences at this year’s EDC Las Vegas.

EDC Las Vegas is the annual mecca event for ravers in the United States and with electronic music’s increasing popularity, the crowds are seeing some new faces. Attendees and workers noted that this year felt the most packed it’s ever been and with more people bring more… situations.

This year EDCLV had an attendance of 166,000 ravers per day. That’s 498,000 throughout the whole weekend.

Insomniac’s motto is “all are welcome here” but some people may have second thoughts after the debauchery that occurred in the raceway. People across social media commented on some of the craziest and most disturbing things they encountered during the festival.

There was a common theme of broken toilets and by the end of the event, you would be lucky to find half a seat on one. With the lack of toilets, people reported seeing guys release their bodily fluids in the open and unfortunately on other people.

Full-on brawls, not mosh pits, broke out in the crowd and it seemed that some people were getting a little too comfortable while getting freaky for everyone to see. As shows and festivals become more mainstream will the electronic scene begin to lose its sense of community and “PLUR” (People Love Unity Respect)?

The underlying respect for one another is what has continued to keep the electronic scene strong and events like EDCLV a success. However, it is likely more of these situations will happen and could potentially change the way we approach festival culture.
