CARNAGE LOSES OVER 100 LBS IN 2020 – [READ]
Fans who were left wondering why Carnage released so few tracks in 2020, the artist and producer finally revealed the reason; he has spent all year focused on his health and revealed his achievement of shedding 100 lbs on social media. The artist/producer may need to acquire a new nickname, as his former moniker “Papi Gordo” may not be applicable as he pursues his healthier lifestyle.
Support has been pouring from colleagues and collaborators Carnage has worked with and inspired. The dubstep duo YOOKiE and producer Eptic congratulated Carnage on his incredible achievement. In a year that was fraught with such turmoil and uncertainty, it is refreshing to see Carnage take quarantine as an opportunity to dedicate his time to something positive.

Carnage, a.k.a El Diablo, was born in Guatemala and caught the attention of major names like Steve Aoki and Borgore with his innovative beats. An integral pioneer of the trap genre, collaborations with Lil Pump, Migos, and Mac Miller were featured on his first album Papi Gordo (2015) and Carnage was catapulted into international recognition. His second album Battered, Bruised and Bloody (2018) featured his collaboration with Lil Pump entitled “I Shyne” and landed him the 49 spot on the Top 100 Billboard charts of Rap and R&B.
