We Belong Here NYC adds pre-festival mat Pilates class at Wollman Rink
We Belong Here partners with Housewives Collective to bring pilates, live music and community to Wollman Rink before the festival.
We Belong Here is bringing wellness into its Central Park festival weekend with a new pre-festival Pilates class at Wollman Rink. On Saturday, October 3, ticket holders can start their day with a mat Pilates session hosted by Housewives Collective, complete with a live DJ and an exclusive gift from HydroJug.
The class comes as part of We Belong Here Central Park, which returns to Wollman Rink from October 2–4. The festival has built its identity around bringing electronic music into unique spaces while creating an experience that extends beyond the music itself. Adding a wellness-focused event before Saturday’s programming gives attendees another way to connect with the community around the festival.
Housewives Collective was founded this year by Ariana McClure, a former professional cheerleader who created the platform around a simple idea: people should not have to choose between wellness and a social life. The concept combines Pilates and other wellness experiences with DJs, day parties and a community of people who enjoy both sides.
Housewives made its debut in June with a Saturday event that moved from a morning Pilates class into a day party. The collective later partnered with Friends of Friends in Miami for another event that paired Pilates and wellness activations with an afternoon party featuring DJs.
That makes the collaboration with We Belong Here feel like a natural next step for Housewives. Both concepts put community at the center of their experiences, while the Pilates class gives festivalgoers a chance to start the day in a different setting before heading into the music.
Access to the October 3 class is free for We Belong Here Central Park ticket holders. Codes have been sent by email or text for attendees to claim their spots. For Housewives, the event marks another opportunity to bring its wellness-meets-nightlife concept to a new audience, while We Belong Here gets to expand the festival experience beyond the dance floor.
