Michael Menert proposes to ‘soulmate’ girlfriend Racheal
Michal Menert has popped the question to Racheal Haynes, turning years of music, love, and creativity into their biggest collab yet.
Michal Menert has officially taken his relationship to the next level after proposing to his longtime partner, Racheal Haynes. The experimental musician shared the exciting news on social media, celebrating that Racheal Haynes has said yes and describing her as his “soulmate.” After years of creating music, touring the country, and building a career around sound, Menert has now added perhaps his most important gig yet: planning a wedding.
Menert has set himself as a distinctive force within electronic music, blending analog production, hip-hop, soul, jazz, and live instrumentation into his own sound. He has also made his mark as a multi-instrumentalist, incorporating guitar and keys into his productions and performances. His career has included co-producing Pretty Lights’ debut album ‘Taking Up Your Precious Time’ and becoming the first artist signed to the Pretty Lights Music label.
Since then, Menert has released projects including Dreaming of a Bigger Life, Even If It Isn’t Right, and Space Jazz, while developing his own label, Super Best Records. He has also performed through Michal Menert & The Pretty Fantastics and larger ensemble formats, while collaborating with artists across electronic, hip-hop, and live music. His musical résumé has already been packed, but this latest announcement has given fans an entirely different reason to celebrate.
Haynes has built her own creative career through Auric Skincraft, where she has worked as a holistic esthetician and botanical-focused practitioner. Her work has centered around skincare, herbalism, botanical formulations, and products designed around a holistic approach to wellness. She has also founded Auric Skincraft while pursuing her education, developing the brand into a small-batch botanical skincare business.

The couple has now brought together two worlds that have revolved around creativity, craft, and personal expression. While Menert has spent decades turning sounds and samples into immersive musical experiences, Haynes has developed her own work around botanical skincare and holistic beauty. Their engagement has therefore marked another chapter in two creative careers that have taken distinctly different—but equally personal—paths.
For Menert, the announcement has represented far more than simply a ring on a finger. He has described himself as blessed to continue writing his story alongside his soulmate, and Haynes has officially said yes to the next chapter. After years of albums, collaborations, touring, and musical experimentation, Menert has seemingly discovered one project where there will be no remix, no encore, and definitely no “one more track”—just a lifetime of creating memories together.
