GTA 6 reveals 34-track album featuring Fred again.. and Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel

Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, and Fred again..’s “Sexy Magic” lead the first six singles from Rockstar and Atlantic Records’ official soundtrack, out November 19.

Vice City is going to sound a lot like a dance floor. Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection of original music inspired by the game’s Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

The album comes out November 19, the same day the long-delayed game is set to release, and six singles are already out. Two of them stand out for electronic fans. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk produced Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” a rare production credit for the famously low-profile co-founder. Fred again.. appears on “Sexy Magic,” which he made with Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress and French house veteran Etienne de Crécy.

The rest of the early lineup covers rap, reggaeton, country and rock. Yung Lean teams up with Future and Metro Boomin on “That’s It.” Rauw Alejandro contributes “Macacoa 2000,” Morgan Wallen adds “Last Thing You Need,” and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards rounds out the batch with “Bright Lights, Big City.”

The singles are already doing big numbers. At the time of writing, “RHYNO” leads on Spotify with more than 2.7 million streams. “Last Thing You Need” follows with about 2.6 million, and “Sexy Magic” has passed 1.8 million plays. The official Grand Theft Auto VI artist page has built up more than 3.5 million monthly listeners.

You can pre-save the digital album on the major streaming platforms now. Physical copies are also up for pre-order in three formats: a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter vinyl and a CD in a jewel case. Retailers will also sell exclusive vinyl colorways with their own artwork.

Some fans have pointed out the irony in the physical release. The game itself is reportedly launching digital-only, which means the soundtrack will be available on disc while the game it was made for won’t be.
