Marlon from Bassjackers welcomes first child
The Bassjackers DJ, Marlon Flohr, is officially a dad and is returning to the road this month following some quality time at home.
The Bassjackers frontman, Marlon Flohr, has officially welcomed his first child, marking an exciting new chapter for the longtime producer and DJ. The news broke online via Instagram, where the Bassjackers announced the birth. He also revealed some exciting upcoming tour dates for the duo in the same post. Lots of new happenings for the big room duo.
In a heartwarming father-and-child post, Bassjackers shared in the Instagram caption, “Life update: Marlon is a dad now 💕took quality time off with the fam, but will be back on the road this month (to catch up on sleep).”
Now that rest has been had for both baby and parent, Marlon Flohr is not wasting time getting behind the decks. He announced his fall tour dates in the same post with a stellar lineup. The tour schedule kicked off on September 9 in Ibiza with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for a Tomorrowland crossover Ushuaïa Ibiza event. Just this past weekend, they took over the Waikiki Open Air Festival in Dinslaken, Germany.
Bassjackers will then head stateside for four stops, beginning in Dallas and Houston. Continuing the tour leg to the dance music capital of the West, Denver, at Club Vinyl, followed by a US closeout night in Costa Mesa, California. October brings the Bassjackers back to their home base of Europe with a stop in Rotterdam and an appearance in Copenhagen.
The dance icons of the early 2010s piled on their support for the new dad, with Laid Back Luke commenting, “Dude congratulations.” A cakeless Steve Aoki shared many heart emojis, and Nervo shared, “Lucky baby !!! You’re going to make a great dad, Marlon.” Congratulations!
