Excision teases gender reveal for second baby at Lost Lands
Excision and his wife prepare to welcome a second baby as the DJ gets ready to bring another edition of Lost Lands to Ohio
Excision is giving fans another reason to celebrate ahead of Lost Lands. The DJ, whose real name is Jeff Abel, and his wife Emma Livorno have announced they are expecting their second child, due in March 2027. The couple shared the news through a series of photos featuring their growing family, including sweet moments with their son and a first look at the new baby through a sonogram.
From family outings to everyday moments with their son, the couple has continued sharing pieces of their life with fans since welcoming their first child in 2024. Their latest announcement adds another chapter to the family moments they have brought their followers along for.
Alongside the pregnancy news, the couple revealed that the final drop of Excision’s upcoming Detox set next Sunday will double as a gender reveal. Instead of keeping the moment entirely private, the pair are inviting fans into the celebration as they find out whether their second baby will be a boy or girl.
That reveal is set to happen just days after Lost Lands returns to Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, from September 18 through 20. The festival, founded by Abel in 2017, has become one of the biggest annual gatherings in bass music.
With Excision scheduled for multiple sets across the weekend, including a Detox set, Lost Lands will already be packed with plenty of moments for fans to remember. Now, one of those moments will have a much more personal meaning for Jeff and his family.
Lost Lands has built a reputation for creating memorable moments within the EDM world, and this one will be a little different from the usual festival spectacle. For the fans attending this year’s Lost Lands, it’s a chance to witness a special moment in the life of the artist behind the festival.
