PROPER NYE/NYD reveals Cloonee b2b KETTAMA b2b Josh Baker alongside massive 2026 lineup
PROPER NYE/NYD returns to San Diego with Cloonee, KETTAMA and Josh Baker joining forces for a massive B3B at Pet-co Park.
PROPER NYE/NYD returns to San Diego’s Petco Park on December 31 and January 1 with another lineup spanning house, techno and melodic electronic music. Sara Landry, Lane 8, Green Velvet, Chris Lorenzo, I Hate Models and Nico Moreno are among the artists set to close out 2026.
But one booking stands out. Cloonee, KETTAMA and Josh Baker will each play individual sets before joining forces for a special B3B. The combination may be new, but the relationships behind it are not.

KETTAMA already has history with both artists. He supported Cloonee’s Red Rocks headline debut in May before the pair went B2B at Amnesia Ibiza in June. Just one week earlier, KETTAMA had shared the decks there with Josh Baker.
That history gives the set more context than simply placing three major names behind the same decks. Each artist will first have space to establish his own sound before the trio comes together, giving the crowd a chance to hear them separately before those styles collide.
That makes PROPER’s NYE/NYD latest pairing feel less random than it first appears. The festival is taking three artists whose paths have repeatedly crossed and putting all three relationships into one booth.
For Cloonee, KETTAMA and Josh Baker, the setup feels particularly fitting. Their paths have crossed repeatedly throughout the year, just never with all three behind the decks at once. PROPER is about to change that. By the time the trio steps into the booth in San Diego, the crowd will already have heard what each artist brings alone.

The festival has become a New Year’s fixture at Petco Park, with multiple stages spread throughout the stadium. This year, that familiar setup gives the collaborative bookings room to stand apart from an already packed lineup.
The rest of PROPER’s Phase One lineup moves across house and techno. Green Velvet, Chris Lorenzo, Odd Mob, SIDEPIECE, Cassian and SOSA bring the house side, while Sara Landry, I Hate Models, Nico Moreno and Klangkuenstler shift the lineup into heavier techno territory.

Lane 8 brings the lineup into melodic territory, with his label This Never Happened hosting its own stage. San Diego-based local music label and party series Daisy Chain will also curate its own stage.
The festival itself has become a New Year’s fixture at Petco Park. The stadium is transformed into a multi-stage electronic music destination. The setup is reminiscent of Factory Town’s format, where different stages create distinct pockets of sound within one larger event. At PROPER, that format gives its wide-ranging lineup and collaborative sets room to exist in their own spaces.
Rather than relying on one headline moment, PROPER has built a weekend where different corners of electronic music can exist side by side. From label-curated stages to unexpected B2Bs, the festival gives familiar names new ways to share the same space.
For a New Year’s lineup this stacked, the best part is seeing what happens when the lines between them start to blur.
