Inside Daily Bread’s new studio album ‘Vanishing Point’

The Atlanta-based artist has dropped a new 13-track studio album, seven years after his first studio album release.

Daily Bread has released his new studio album, ‘Vanishing Point,’ a 13-track project inspired by the memories, experiences, and sounds collected while constantly moving toward what comes next. And in true Daily Bread fashion, the album has plenty of Atlanta influence for all listeners to shake it to.

The album marks the latest full-length release from Atlanta producer Daily Bread, aka Rhett Whatley. Features on the album include fellow producer Late Night Radio. It also includes tracks with Jonah Cruzz, Obeah, STS, and Kyle Lucas. Vanishing Point also includes previously released singles “Soaring In The Sky,” “Til The Sun Burns Out” and “A Long Time.” Daily Bread also released 100 special-edition cassette tapes with the album launch, carrying the weight of nostalgia on a long car ride.

Daily Bread first shared the meaning behind ‘Vanishing Point’ on July 14 while announcing the album’s accompanying tour. “Excited to announce the Vanishing Point Tour. There’s a point on the horizon you can see but never quite reach. No matter how fast you drive, it keeps moving down the road. That place is the vanishing point. This album is about the chase. It’s about the memories behind us, the unknown ahead, and all the moments we collect along the way.”

That idea runs through the project without distracting from the music. ‘Vanishing Point’ is about moving forward while still carrying pieces of where you have already been. The result feels less like a destination and more like a snapshot of anyone, even Daily Bread, in motion through life. Across the album, familiar collaborators like Late Night Radio sit alongside solo Daily Bread tracks, giving the album space to expand while remaining a true solo project. The focus stays firmly on the ongoing journey itself. Daily Bread will headline Hulaween Festival in late October 2026 as one stop on his upcoming tour.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 80 artists of all genres (I've lost count). Some of my faves being Odesza, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, Pretty Lights, Of The Trees, Daily Bread, and Kaskade.
