Slushii reveals Soundcloud deleted his official music account in 2024
Slushii is now calling on SoundCloud to help recover his account and the music he says was lost after years of trying to regain access
Slushii says he has been locked out of two SoundCloud accounts for years and claims the platform deleted his official music account in 2024, costing him access to years of songs and remixes. In an Instagram post, Slushii said the SoundCloud accounts associated with the usernames “slushiisociety” and “susboy” have not been under his control since 2020.
According to the artist, someone changed the primary email address on the “slushiisociety” account to a disposable email address and has maintained control of both accounts since then. Slushii also warned fans about an upload appearing on the “susboy” account under his name, saying he did not create the track and would never have released it.
The artist said the situation escalated in 2024 when his official “slushiimusic” SoundCloud account was deleted. Slushii said the account contained years of music releases and remixes that he can no longer access.
“I have the email records,” Slushii wrote, adding that he has screenshots from 2020 documenting the email change and provided the information to SoundCloud.
Slushii said he has contacted the platform repeatedly for six years but has been unable to resolve the issue. He claims SoundCloud support repeatedly asks him to verify the email address associated with the account, which he says is the same information that was changed without his authorization.
“I shouldn’t have to be stuck in a loop of wanting to fix things, but giving up when SoundCloud refuses to help me,” he wrote.
Slushii said he filed a report with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, known as IC3, this month and intends to pursue the matter.
He also called on SoundCloud and SoundCloud for Artists to escalate the situation, arguing that the presence of a file under his name that he says he did not create should be enough for the company to investigate.
