Noizu cancels upcoming US shows due to visa delays

Noizu cancels three U.S. shows in Boston, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles due to ongoing visa delays keeping the DJ in London.

English DJ and producer Noizu announced on Instagram that ongoing visa delays forced him to cancel three upcoming U.S. shows. Noizu shared that he is currently stuck in London and actively attempting to resolve the issue, despite now calling Los Angeles his home base. As a result, he was forced to cancel scheduled performances in Boston, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.

The affected dates included an August 14 performance at The Grand in Boston, followed by a show at The Ave Live in Philadelphia on August 15. Noizu was also scheduled to headline Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on August 22.

Noizu assured fans that his team is already working on rescheduling the affected performances for next year. Those who purchased tickets for the canceled dates will receive full refunds.

“Gutted about this situation, sorry to everyone who had tickets already,” he shared. “I was so excited for these shows.”

Fellow artists and fans took to the comments section to share their support and disappointment over the cancellations. It’s Hill House commented, “Terrible sorry to hear bro,” while the most-liked comment on the post joked, “The king of Southern California (Noizu) will return in Avengers Doomsday.” Other fans expressed disappointment while remaining understanding of the situation and hopeful for the rescheduled events.

Visa complications are not uncommon among international touring artists, with U.S. performances sometimes dependent on lengthy petition and processing timelines. At this time, Noizu has not provided additional details regarding the cause of the visa delays or announced replacement dates for the three canceled U.S. performances.
