Excision’s Mile High 2026 showcases a new era of bass music production at Fiddler’s Green
Excision’s Mile High once again transformed Denver into a sought-after bass music destination, delivering two days of world-class dubstep and immersive production.
Excision returned to Colorado on July 31 – August 1 for another edition of Mile High, bringing together one of the strongest dance music lineups of the summer at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. Alongside Excision, Mile High featured standout performances from Space Laces, Layz, Barely Alive, and several other heavyweights in the dubstep scene. The lineup also included highly anticipated back-to-back sets, with Ravenscoon b2b Jantsen and Infekt b2b Samplifire among the weekend’s biggest collaborations.
The event expanded beyond the music this year, with the adjacent Marjorie Park opening daily at 2 p.m. and offering food and craft vendors, games, giveaways, and other activities that gave fans even more to explore before the performances began. The additional attention to curating a festival-style experience enabled Mile High to go beyond the typical concert feel. Art installations, clothing vendors, and a variety of food options gave attendees plenty to explore, while shaded areas throughout the venue offered a welcome escape from the Colorado heat. Mini donuts and frozen piña coladas were among the standout refreshments, making for the perfect sweet treat break between bass obliteration.
One of the weekend’s biggest highlights was the community itself, a common takeaway from Excision events. Fans old and new traveled from across Colorado and around the country to attend the two-day event, contributing to an energetic, authentic atmosphere that is increasingly hard to come by in dance music. Fiddler’s Green is thoughtfully designed to serve all types of fans—with an energetic pit for dedicated headbangers, amphitheater seating for those seeking a more relaxed experience, and a spacious lawn where groups could spread out and dance together.
As expected, Excision’s production remained a core draw of Mile High. His set featured a blend of fan-favorite tracks alongside unreleased material, accompanied by a mix of new and classic visuals that kept longtime fans engaged while showcasing why his live shows continue to set the standard for bass music production.
The visual presentation was elevated even further by massive pyrotechnics throughout the performance. In addition to the signature bursts of fire, colorful flame effects added a fresh layer to the production, complementing the towering LED displays and carefully timed fireworks.
From the expanded festival experience to the stacked lineup and jaw-dropping production, Mile High once again proved why it has become one of Colorado’s signature bass music events. With thoughtful organization, plenty to explore outside the music, and a passionate fan community, the weekend delivered another memorable chapter for Excision’s annual return to the Mile High City.
