ORIGIN Los Angeles slated to open this summer with focus on electronic music
ORIGIN Los Angeles has unveiled plans for a new venue in the Arts District that has been built to elevate the city’s electronic music scene.
Los Angeles is getting another major electronic music venue, and this one looks built with the dance floor in mind. ORIGIN Los Angeles is set to open in the Arts District in late summer or early fall 2026, bringing a brand-new indoor and outdoor space designed for club nights, concerts, and community events.
The venue will take over the industrial space at 613 Imperial Street and turn it into a multi-purpose destination for electronic music fans. Instead of one single room, ORIGIN is being designed so people can move between a main indoor area and a large outdoor patio throughout the night.

The project comes from Roni Mehrabian and Cyril Bitar, the team behind SBCLTR and Minimal Effort. They have also helped create popular Los Angeles events including LABRYINTO, Brunch Electronik, The Maze, FLOAT, and Resolutions, giving them a strong track record in the city’s nightlife scene.
Programming is expected to focus heavily on house, techno, and other forward-thinking electronic sounds. Fridays will feature live bookings from both established and emerging artists, while Saturdays will rotate between daytime outdoor events and late-night club programming.

One of the biggest selling points is the production setup. The venue is being designed by Marc Dizon, whose past work includes Brooklyn Mirage, Output New York, Hakkasan Las Vegas, and Sound Los Angeles, and it will feature a custom analog KV2 Audio system built specifically for the space.
ORIGIN says its goal is to create a permanent home for artists, promoters, and electronic music communities in Los Angeles. With a music-first approach, a futuristic design, and a long-term vision for the Arts District, the venue is already shaping up to be one of the city’s most anticipated openings of 2026.
