Jai Wolf launches new project featuring Desi artists with new single ‘Throw Ya Body’
Jai Wolf’s latest release introduces a collaborative vision that connects electronic artists from around the world.
New York-raised producer Jai Wolf is kicking off a new chapter with the release of Throw Ya Body, a collaboration with producer Tej and singer-songwriter Avani Satra. Released through Lost In Dreams Records, the single is the first look at an upcoming project that brings together South Asian artists from around the world.
The Bangladeshi-American producer says the project is focused on collaboration, connecting artists across genres to create new music together. The upcoming releases will explore everything from club music and melodic house to indie electronic while highlighting South Asian talent on a larger stage.
Throw Ya Body introduces that vision with Tej’s production and Avani Satra’s vocals. The track blends melodic moments with heavier drops, giving listeners a preview of the direction Jai Wolf plans to take with this new era. It also marks the first official release from the collaborative project.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to launch my next era with Throw Ya Body, Jai Wolf said in a statement. “The spirit of my next era is to push my personal sonic boundary as far as possible through collaborations.” He added that working with Tej created a unique sound that has already become a favorite during his Club Babu performances.
The release follows the recent announcement of Jai Wolf’s 10th Anniversary Tour. Beginning October 24 in San Francisco, the eight-city run will celebrate each chapter of his career, from Indian Summer through his latest releases. Over the past year, he also brought his Club Babu Tour to cities across North America, China, and Bangladesh while exploring a wider range of global dance music influences.
Best known for his RIAA Gold-certified single Indian Summer, Jai Wolf has released two studio albums and collaborated with artists including BANKS, San Holo, and Aluna. With Throw Ya Body, he opens the door to a project that celebrates collaboration while showcasing South Asian artists to audiences around the world.
