Olivia Rodrigo launches women-led Daisy Chain Fields Festival with an all-star female lineup
Olivia Rodrigo gives back to the California community through a women-championed charity event.
Olivia Rodrigo is planting something new in the California splendid sun. On August 29th, 2026, the singer-songwriter will present Daisy Chain Fields, a one-day, women-led music festival at the Great Park in Irvine. To Olivia’s humble elation, Daisy Chain Fields has already become a phenomenon, with tickets sold out and a waitlist fomenting.
The concept is unapologetically feminine. Rodrigo says she landed on the name after picturing women sitting together in a field, weaving little flower chains, an idyllic image of connection, joy, and community. That spirit runs straight back to Lilith Fair, the trailblazing all-female traveling festival Sarah McLachlan founded in 1997 after being told radio stations wouldn’t play two women’s singles back-to-back. Lilith Fair became the highest-grossing tour of its year and raised over $10 million for charity. Daisy Chain Fields is its equally beneficent, spiritual heir.
The lineup spans generations of women in music. Rock legend Stevie Nicks and Lilith Fair’s own Sarah McLachlan appear as special guests alongside Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, joining a headline-worthy roster that includes Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Mitski, Doechii, Garbage, The Breeders, Santigold, KATSEYE, and Rachel Chinouriri. And in an interview with Barbara Walters, Rodrigo admitted a “Landslide” duet with Nicks may be on the horizon. If it were to happen, it would be one of those rare, generation-bridging moments that live forever in music history.
What truly sets the festival apart is its heart. Rodrigo has confirmed that 100% of the net proceeds will go to charity, and every artist is performing for the cause. The beneficiaries all advance and advocate for women and girls: Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights defend reproductive health and rights; Baby2Baby provides diapers, formula, and basic necessities to children across all 50 states; Black Mamas Matter Alliance and Jhpiego work to keep mothers healthy before, during, and after pregnancy; and the National Women’s Law Center and National Domestic Workers Alliance fight for the rights and dignity of women in law, policy, and the workplace.
Daisy Chain Fields is more than a concert. It’s a field full of women, linked daisy chains in hand, turning joy into meaningful change.
