Echostage debuts massive production upgrades following largest renovation in venue’s history
Echostage has completed its largest renovation to date, transforming its production and redefining the live experience in Washington, D.C.
Echostage in Washington, D.C. has rolled out its biggest production renovation, transforming the venue into a next-level club experience across its main room system. After a year of upgrades, Echostage now features stadium-grade sound and expanded visuals built for festival-scale shows indoors.
Echostage now anchors its experience around a new L-Acoustics L2 system, delivering stadium-caliber audio clarity into every corner of the room. Paired with seven LED walls, over 200 lighting fixtures, and 16 lasers, the venue leans into full sensory immersion for live shows across the entire room.
Fans got their first taste of the upgrade during Project GLOW Festival weekend, where the revamped system was unleashed. The debut showed the venue now matching outdoor festival energy inside one of D.C.’s most iconic rooms in real-time energy.
A b2b DJ set from Riordan and Ranger Trucco pushed the new system to its limits, delivering festival-scale energy inside the upgraded space. Fans highlighted just how physically powerful the sound feels.
With its upgraded rig, Echostage is positioning itself as a benchmark for club production in the U.S. this year. The focus is to bring festival-level design into a permanent indoor experience.
Early reactions suggest the upgrades are redefining what fans expect from a nightclub sound system. For many, it now feels less like a club night and more like a full-scale festival show in real time energy.
