Marshmello named Burn Boot Camp’s Executive Partner for Creative & Music

Marshmello expands beyond music with a new leadership role at Burn Boot Camp and a vision for music-driven motivation.

Marshmello has spent the last decade building one of electronic music’s most recognizable brands, but his latest venture takes him somewhere few fans would have expected. The producer has been named Burn Boot Camp‘s Executive Partner for Creative & Music while also joining the fitness company as an equity and franchise partner.

While artist partnerships are nothing new, this goes beyond a typical endorsement. Burn Boot Camp is a fitness community built around 45-minute trainer-led workouts. Marshmello’s role will include helping shape the music and creative direction behind the member experience. It is a natural fit for an artist whose career has always centered around bringing people together through shared moments.

For dance music fans, the connection between fitness and electronic music is easy to understand. Whether it is a workout playlist packed with festival anthems or the growing focus on wellness throughout the dance music community, the two worlds have become increasingly connected in recent years.

The first major initiative from the partnership is Marshmello Mondays, a weekly program that will bring exclusive playlists and motivational messages into Burn Boot Camp locations. Speaking on the collaboration, Marshmello said, “Whether it’s through music or fitness, it’s all about creating positive energy and bringing people together. Burn Boot Camp has built an incredible community that motivates people to keep showing up for themselves and for each other. I’m excited to be part of that journey.”

The announcement arrives during another busy year for the producer. Marshmello has remained active on festival lineups and tour schedules around the world while continuing to release music across genres.

As artists continue finding new ways to expand their reach beyond the stage, Marshmello’s latest move stands out as one of the more unexpected partnerships in dance music. It will be interesting to see how his influence helps shape the Burn Boot Camp experience and where the collaboration goes from here.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
