GRiZ announces headlining return to Red Rocks after five years

GRiZ expands his 2026 live run with a Red Rocks Amphitheater return, adding another major stop after Seven Stars Festival and GRiZMAS.

GRiZ is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the first time in five years, bringing one of electronic music’s most anticipated homecomings to the iconic Colorado venue. The announcement adds another milestone to a comeback year that has already delivered plenty of memorable moments for fans.

For many artists, Red Rocks is a bucket list venue. For GRiZ, it has become part of a much larger story. Now based in Denver, the producer has spent years building a connection with Colorado’s dance music community, making his return to the natural amphitheater especially meaningful. Few venues capture the sense of celebration and community that have long been at the center of his project.

The announcement follows a massive 2025 for the North Detroit native. After stepping away from touring, GRiZ returned to the stage with the inaugural Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, Virginia. More than 22,000 fans gathered for the event, which marked his first live performances in two years and signaled the beginning of a new era for the artist.

His return has extended beyond live shows. Over the past year, GRiZ surprised fans with the release of the GEMiNI EP, followed by Sidequest Vol. 1 and most recent release Future Funk, Vol. 1. The releases showcased the versatility that has defined his catalog, touching on everything from funk and soul to bass heavy production.

Momentum has continued to build throughout the year. GRiZ closed out 2025 with sold-out headline events in Chicago and the Bay Area before celebrating the 10th anniversary of GRiZMAS in Detroit. Festival appearances and special sets have kept his schedule packed, with performances at major events continuing throughout the summer.

With Seven Stars Festival returning this October and a growing list of appearances on the horizon, GRiZ’s return to Red Rocks arrives at a fitting moment. Fans will once again gather for a show years in the making, as one of dance music’s most beloved artists returns to a stage that has long felt like home.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
