Dean Turnley heading to the US, UK, and Europe after song ‘Actin’ Tough’ goes viral
Turnley’s first major run includes festival appearances at Tomorrowland, Parklife, Portola, CRSSD and III Points.
Following the major viral success of his single “Actin’ Tough,” Dean Turnley has announced an extensive 2026 tour spanning the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.
The tour kicked off on June 12 at The Light Bar in London, and the rest of the tour is packed. Turnley is slated to perform at some of the world’s most prominent electronic music festivals, including Parklife, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, CRSSD Festival, Portola Festival, III Points and Freaky Deaky.
Turnley reflected on the whirlwind year for his tour announcement via Instagram, writing, “My 2026 tour schedule is here. As crazy as this year has been… it’s about to get crazier.”
“Actin’ Tough” was released in March through CHAOS, Astralwerks and Intercord Germany in collaboration with HOME//GRXWN and has quickly become one of dance music’s biggest success stories of 2026. The track has amassed more than 14 million Spotify streams and reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Viral Chart, SoundCloud, Shazam and Beatport.
The track first circulated as a sought-after ID before exploding across club culture, receiving support from artists including Chris Lake, Sammy Virji, Gorgon City, Cassian and Subtronics. Rapper BIA even performed her own version during her Coachella set, and online posts and shares from Interplantary Criminal, Peggy Gou & KILIMANJARO also helped fuel its success.
While “Actin’ Tough” may have introduced Turnley to the world and become one of the top new tracks of the year, the producer has been at the game for well over a decade already. Turnley began building his reputation as an underground selector in Detroit and Chicago and as a co-founder of Thailand’s Sundancer Festival.
