Roger Sanchez releases first album in 20 years
Roger Sanchez releases ‘Spectrum,’ his first studio album in two decades.
Roger Sanchez is an American house DJ, producer, and remixer recognized globally for a career that has spanned decades within the electronic dance music scene. For the first time in over 20 years, he has released a full-length studio album on his label, Stealth Records. The album, Spectrum, was released on June 5, 2026, and consists of 13 tracks.
This marks a significant moment for both Sanchez and the wider dance music industry, as few legacy house DJs return with a full-length album after such a long gap. The project has been six years in the making. During that time, Sanchez traveled the world, collaborating with a wide range of vocalists and songwriters, shaping the album into what he describes as a true labor of love. The result is a body of work that reflects the global nature of house music and captures its evolution across different regions and influences.

Spectrum is not a one-dimensional release. It spans a broad range of styles, from club-focused house tracks to vocal-driven records and more emotional, melodic cuts. This diversity reinforces Sanchez’s ability to remain relevant while staying rooted in the core elements of house music.
“This project is about music and frequencies and light: everything from the light to the soulful to the club-ready infrared, the emotionally-weighted ultraviolet. That’s what Spectrum is all about for me.”
Stylistically, the album leans into groove-heavy modern house, incorporating strong UK club influences alongside its New York roots. A major component of the project is its collaborative nature, featuring contributions from artists such as Fedde Le Grand, Karen Harding, Kelli-Leigh, Melanie C (Spice Girls), Kele Le Roc, and Donae’O, among others. These collaborations help bridge generations and styles, further emphasizing the album’s global and cross-genre appeal.
Sanchez will be performing music from Spectrum throughout the summer at his “Flower Power” residency at Pacha Ibiza, with 10 consecutive Saturday dates scheduled from June 13 through August 29. The residency serves as a continuation of his long-standing presence on the island and reinforces his enduring connection to the global house music scene.
