John Summit plays first UNVRS Ibiza Residency with defining opening night
John Summit unveils custom Experts Only universe at UNVRS.
On June 1, John Summit kicked off his nine-week residency at one of the most talked-about clubs on the island of Ibiza, UNVRS. Max Styler, AYYBO, and Cole Knight joined Summit for the opening night of what has become one of the summer’s most anticipated weekly events. Experts Only took things to a whole new level by building an immersive Experts Only world exclusively inside UNVRS.
The show unveiled the most ambitious evolution yet of the Experts Only visual identity.
The brand’s iconic twisted double-diamond symbol was transformed into a piece of kinetic architecture. The reimagined design became the centerpiece of the cutting-edge production, continuously reshaping the venue throughout the night. The diamond-shaped structures reconfigured in sync with the music alongside illuminated ceiling panels that extended the visuals across the entire club.
From the moment attendees stepped through the doors, they entered the Experts Only universe rather than a traditional club show. Fans were immersed in a world surrounded by kinetic architecture, sculptural elements, synchronized lighting, video content, lasers, and special effects. The entire production worked together as a single system, creating an experience that felt like a journey alongside the music.
John Summit and his team have built a reputation for thinking outside the box, and the opening night of the residency was no exception. The venue-specific concept pushed the boundaries of what a nightclub residency can be, creating a unique experience designed specifically for UNVRS. The result was a trend-setting achievement for both Summit and the venue, offering a glimpse into the future of nightlife production.
The residency will continue throughout the summer and is expected to become one of Ibiza’s most in-demand weekly experiences.
Artists performing alongside Summit every Monday from June 1 through July 27 include a mix of household names and rising talent. SG Lewis, Layton Giordani, Patrick Topping, Gorgon City, Sofi Tukker, LP Giobbi, and Roddy Lima are just a few of the artists set to become part of the Experts Only world throughout the season.
