PROSPA releases long-awaited debut album in time for summer

PROSPA unleashes their highly anticipated first full-length project, which arrives ahead of major festival appearances across the globe.

After months of anticipation, PROSPA have finally unveiled their debut album, ‘Free Your Mind,’ arriving just as summer begins to take off. The UK duo spent the past year carefully building excitement through a run of singles that introduced listeners to the world of the record one track at a time.

Several of the songs’ singles have already earned their place in fans’ playlists, with the title track leading the way. There is an undeniable energy running throughout the project, the kind that sneaks into your head after one listen and keeps you coming back for another. Whether you’re blasting through festival speakers or soundtracking a road trip, these tracks were meant to be played loud.

The album also welcomes a handful of familiar names along the way. Collaborators, including KETTAMA and Kosmo Kint, make appearances throughout the project. Also featured on the album is Canadian hip hop pioneer Murda Beatz.

The album arrives in the midst of a breakout year for the pair. Earlier this spring, PROSPA made its Coachella debut. Their momentum shows no sign of slowing, with major appearances at Creamfields and The Warehouse Project still ahead. Each performance has reinforced their reputation as one of the most exciting acts in dance music right now.

Their international schedule also includes a return to the United States for Experts Only Festival in New York. Later this year, fans in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to catch PROSPA during a three-night run at The Shrine Auditorium in October.

Beyond the music itself, the release marks an important moment for CircoLoco Records as PROSPA became the first act to release a full-length album through the label. It is a fitting achievement for the duo as they fully enter their next era.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
