Wasteland Festival drops 2026 lineup with diverse hard dance acts

Wasteland Festival unleashes a 180 BPM dancefloor of hardstyle chaos at NOS Events Center on Labor Day Weekend.

Hard dance fans in Southern California are now in for a treat as Wasteland Festival becomes one outside of the EDC site, and has unveiled one of its most intense lineups yet. Returning to NOS Event Center on September 4th and 5th, the eleventh edition promises two days of hardstyle, hardcore, hard techno, and a hard set of BPM on the speakers, and your heart rate.

This year’s lineup touches nearly every corner of the hard dance scene. Hardcore titans Angerfist, Sub Zero Project, Lil Texas and Yosuf have all secured headlining spots. At the same time, Ben Nicky, Kayzo, Beauz and Trym join in the sound chaos with their matched set of hard dance.

For 2026, Wasteland expands into a new three-stage layout featuring takeovers from Insomniac’s Basscon and Mutate brands alongside Unreal Germany. The addition of more hard techno and schranz artists highlight the growing crossover between hard dance and Europe’s booming warehouse rave scene. As we have seen this side of EDM blow up with Sara Landry’s stardom, fans gear to warm up and nod their heads to the craze.

The lineup goes far beyond traditional hardstyle, adding names like Restricted, Fatima Hajji, Kobosil, and Restricted into the mix. Fans have also celebrated additions like Darren Styles, Vertile, and Somewhen, showing that the festival embraces both uplifting melodies and powerful kick drums that can rearrange internal organs while jumping.

Insomniac also confirmed Wasteland will feature official on-site afterparties for the first time, therefore extended festival hours. Apparently, two straight days of nonstop stomping weren’t ambitious enough. Festival veterans are already preparing their knees, hydration packs, and chiropractor appointments to alleviate the recovery after the weekend.

While the hard dance culture expands to grow worldwide form the sounds of Berghein, to stadium sized raves in Europe, Wasteland has now been set as one of North America’s sites for the sub-genre. With the packed lineup, expanded format, and unstoppable energy, this year’s edition feels out of the ordinary and more like a full-blown cardio challenge set to 180 BPM, subbing the weekly peloton rides and Orange Theory exercises.
