Kygo shares plans for EDM-focused luxury residences in Miami

Kygo will unveil a new project that combines luxury and festival culture in the heart of Miami.

Kygo has announced plans for Palm Tree Residences Miami, a pioneering entertainment-driven condominium project that integrates festival culture, hospitality, and nightlife into a luxury residential experience. Developed in partnership with Palm Tree Crew co-founder Myles Shear and prominent South Florida developers Property Markets Group and Lion Development Group, the project aims to redefine the branded living experience.

Set in Miami’s newly coined entertainment district (also known as Downtown), the 37-story tower will feature 483 fully furnished residences ranging from compact junior suites to expansive three-bedroom homes. But unlike traditional luxury condos, Palm Tree Residences is positioning itself as a lifestyle ecosystem rooted directly in dance music culture.

Residents will reportedly receive built-in Palm Tree Crew membership benefits, including VIP access to Palm Tree Crew festivals around the world, exclusive hospitality perks, and preferred access to branded nightlife experiences. A Palm Tree Crew venue and restaurant are also expected to occupy the building’s ground floor, bringing live DJ programming and curated events directly into the residential space.

The project reflects a growing trend within luxury development where experiential branding is beginning to outweigh traditional hospitality partnerships. High-end residential towers tied to fashion houses and automotive brands have already proven successful in markets like Miami, but Palm Tree Residences marks one of the first large-scale attempts by an electronic music artist to translate festival culture into permanent residential living.

Amenities inside the building are expected to lean heavily into wellness and entertainment culture, including rooftop pools, saunas, cold plunges, yoga studios, padel courts, golf simulators, and hospitality-focused social spaces designed around Miami’s nightlife identity.

The development also arrives as Miami continues cementing itself as a global hub for music, luxury tourism, wellness, and branded real estate, a combination developers increasingly believe appeals to younger affluent buyers looking for community and lifestyle as much as square footage.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
