We Belong Here to bring waterfront festival experience to New Orleans

We Belong Here brings its waterfront festival experience to Woldenberg Riverfront Park in New Orleans on November 13th through 15th.

We Belong Here New Orleans is arriving this fall! The team behind the We Belong Here festival series announced the new a new location in the spooky city of New Orleans. The event will be hosted along the Mississippi River at Woldenberg Riverfront Park, keeping the waterside festival theme the We Belong Here brand is known for. Even better, the New Orleans rendition of the festival will not only be waterside but also in the historic French Quarter, happening November 13th through 15th.

If you are not familiar with We Belong Here, here is the TLDR on the steadily growing festival brand. Building since 2021, and distinguishing itself by planting roots in unique, scenic, waterfront venues while keeping the focus on community and intentional curation of music. The festival got its start at Virginia Key Beach in Miami. The brand has made Miami its home, just like Ultra, but on a smaller, more intimate scale. Up north, New York City We Belong Here events have grown from micro-festivals in Greenpoint or Central Park to a full multi-stage takeover of the Brooklyn Army Terminal Waterfront last year.

This past February, they celebrated their fifth anniversary in Miami with their most ambitious edition yet, expanding to three days for the first time and bringing in Chris Lake, Tiesto, Gorgon City, Lane 8, and Kaskade’s Redux set, with all headliners playing extended sets of at least two hours. New Orleans is the next chapter. A weekend of dance music, immersive art, and food in New Orleans in November, when the weather actually cooperates, already sets the whimsical festival up for success. The historical city’s deep cultural and musical roots means We Belong Here, by marking fresh territory, can only add to New Orleans’ unique culture. No lineup has been announced yet.
