Adventure Club teases follow up to iconic Calling All Heroes EP

Adventure Club teases Calling All Heroes II with nostalgic post reflecting on 15 years of music and connection

Fifteen years into a career built on emotional releases and festival-sized singalongs, Adventure Club are stepping back into the world that helped define an era of melodic bass music. This week, the duo revealed Calling All Heroes II, a follow-up to their beloved 2013 EP that arrives on May 29. Rather than a traditional announcement, the reveal unfolded through a series of black slides that read more like a personal letter than a rollout campaign.

The post reflected on the time passing over decade and a half in dance music. Adventure Club revisited the emotional weight their catalog has carried over the years, from moments of heartbreak and self-discovery to the sense of connection formed between artists and crowds.

That tour appears to have reignited something for the pair. Revisiting old songs in packed venues across North America reminded them why those records resonated in the first place. Instead of centering trends or streaming culture, the announcement focused on the emotional core of dance music and the shared experiences that can grow from it over time.

The new EP promises a blend of familiar emotion and fresh collaborations. Among the lineup is Goddess, a highly anticipated collaboration with Flux Pavilion and Jaira Burns. The pairing feels especially significant given Flux Pavilion’s own influence on the golden era of dubstep that Adventure Club helped soundtrack.

Outside of the music itself, Adventure Club have also maintained a uniquely personal relationship with their audience online over the years. Their social media presence has long balanced humor, vulnerability, and community in a way that made fans feel part of the journey rather than just spectators to it.

More than anything, Calling All Heroes II feels like a full-circle moment. Not just because Adventure Club are revisiting a defining chapter of their career, but because they seem to be reconnecting with the reason people gravitated toward their music in the first place.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
