Adam Beyer is marking his 50th birthday in Ibiza, and the timing feels almost too perfect for a techno icon. The Drumcode boss shared the milestone with a simple, grateful message, thanking fans for the love and promising to see everyone on the dancefloor.
The celebration lands in the middle of another busy Ibiza season for Beyer. Amnesia says it will host RESISTANCE every Wednesday from July 22 to September 16, 2026, across nine dates. Coincidentally, the club also marks its 50th birthday this year.
That link feels especially fitting for an artist who has helped define modern techno for decades. Beyer launched Drumcode in the 1990s, and the label has grown into one of electronic music’s most reliable global brands. Furthermore, Ibiza has long been one of Beyer’s natural homes. He has returned to the island in multiple eras, from earlier RESISTANCE runs to more recent high-profile summer appearances.
Amnesia’s 2026 RESISTANCE season underlines how central he remains to the club’s identity. The lineup also brings in ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha, and Eric Prydz, giving the residency plenty of heavyweight company.
Beyer’s birthday post also fit his public persona well. He kept it direct, warm, and focused on the crowd rather than the spotlight. Ultimately, Beyer’s 50th marks more than just a birthday in a famous party destination. It is a huge milestone for an artist still deeply connected to one of the world’s biggest music hubs.
