Josh Tarum of Levity celebrates graduation from medical school

Congratulations, Dr. Levity! Josh Tarum has graduated from medical school just in time to double down on the celebration at EDC Las Vegas this past weekend.

Levity’s Josh Tarum has officially graduated from medical school. Yes, while also being a touring artist in the trio Levity, Josh Tarum might be built differently. The group broke the news on Instagram, writing, “JOSH GRADUATED MEDICAL SCHOOL!!! It’s officially Dr. Levity now!! We’re so so proud of our very own Josh Tarum for graduating med school and becoming a doctor! It’s been so inspiring watching Josh be able to juggle med school & putting in his equal share of work into Levity simultaneously!”

The fact that he was doing both at the same time and seemingly thriving at both is genuinely kind of insane. Most people can barely hold down a 9-to-5 and remember to eat. Josh was out here studying medicine and booking shows, apparently not dropping the ball on either. That’s not all, Levity followed up the announcement with “EDC TOMORROW FOR THE DOUBLE CELEBRATION! 11:15pm – 12:25am at Circuit Grounds, Friday! We got some fun doctor things we’re planning for it. Make sure y’all get there early!” So not only did Tarum graduate from medical school this past weekend, but he also headlined EDC Las Vegas. To make this weekend even more special for the trio, it was also PJ’s birthday.

Now that the degree is officially behind him, Josh is stepping into full-time Levity mode. It is hard not to root for someone who spent years quietly doing the impossible and never made it anyone else’s problem. The scene is lucky to have him and his determination. Also, RIP to what could have been the most fun doctor’s appointment of all time.
