Budding riddim artist ONARA unleashes festival anthem ‘SHARPSHOOTER’
Fresh off Lost Lands announcement, rising riddim producer ONARA drops his explosive new single “SHARPSHOOTER” today.
ONARA is continuing a rapid ascent through the underground bass scene with the release of his cutting new single, “SHARPSHOOTER.” The track couldn’t arrive at a better time for his breakout era, arriving just days after announcing an appearance at Lost Lands, a massive milestone that marks a major milestone as ONARA continues expanding his presence.
Rarely seen without a black face mask, ONARA leans into an incognito aesthetic that keeps the attention centered on the music and heavy-hitting dubz. Over the past year, he has quietly become one of riddim’s most talked-about emerging names. From recent viral B2Bs with roi* in Montreal with an upcoming reunion set at Rampage this summer, his tracks have also been circulating heavily through major DJ sets, reportedly receiving play at events including bassPOD at EDC and SHIVERZ’s Choppedfest.
“SHARPSHOOTER” is leaning fully into this next chapter. The track is a high-impact riddim cut designed for peak-time moments, featuring aggressive sequencing and sharp sound design. The stomping drum patterns mixed with metallic synths will no doubt trigger bass face just from streaming it, so obviously this one is made for the mainstage. The hyper-punchy drops and minimal yet aggressive riddim aesthetic is the modern-day romance for fans right now. This might not be your casual listen, but you will absolutely headbang to it at your next festival side quest this summer.

To better introduce ONARA (which is easier said than done, considering he keeps it very mysterious), behind the masked project is over a decade of production experience. ONARA cites early inspiration from legendary artists like Skrillex, deadmau5, and Virtual Riot before launching the ONARA project anonymously through SoundCloud in 2020. Since then, his rise has been fueled almost entirely through organic online momentum, dubplate circulation, and support from major names including INFEKT, Shiverz, HOL!, Obey, and Mad Dubz.
If you want to be able to say you caught onto ONARA before he goes big, now is your chance. The masked producer is rapidly becoming one of bass music’s most exciting names to watch.
Stream “SHARPSHOOTER” now and stay updated with ONARA through his official channels.
