Is Rezz Deathpact?

Deathpact’s sudden withdrawal from EDC Las Vegas 2026 following Rezz’s recent hiatus announcement has reignited online theories.

Fans were quick to notice that Deathpact has been removed from the EDC Las Vegas 2026 lineup. The sudden schedule change has unearthed a tale as old as time and one of bass music’s longest-running conspiracy theories: Is REZZ secretly part of Deathpact?

Deathpact quietly disappeared from the EDC lineup and the mobile app, prompting discussions to spread across Reddit and social media quickly. Shortly after, Deathpact posted a statement via Instagram stories, writing, “Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to pull from EDC this weekend due to a severe illness that requires immediate care.”

The statement continued, “We thought about performing solo, but that wasn’t the show we promised EDC this year,” before adding that the project had “not once cancelled a show for personal reasons” in nearly seven years.

The sudden withdrawal suspiciously comes just days after REZZ announced an indefinite hiatus from touring due to ongoing health concerns. Over the past month, the REZZ has also canceled several major shows, including Coachella Weekend 2. She announced in a vulnerable statement, saying, “The past few months, my body forced me to stop.” REZZ has also been preparing for the release of her introspective A Shift In Perspective EP ahead of festival season, marking a very real shift in perspective toward prioritizing her health and stepping away from touring.

Because of the timing of it all, fans have immediately begun reviving theories that REZZ is secretly involved with Deathpact. Reddit threads discussing the theory exploded almost instantly, with some users claiming the overlap between the cancellations “can’t be a coincidence.”

Despite the rumours and mishegas, there is still no confirmed evidence connecting REZZ to the project. In fact, Deathpact has allegedly appeared in multiple cities simultaneously in previous years, fueling theories that the act may actually be a collaborative collective rather than a single artist.

Overall, the Deathpact project’s intentionally cryptic “YOU ARE DEATHPACT” branding will always keep it a mystery.

Hi, I’m Lily! I’m an LA-based concert & festival diehard! My life was forever changed after my first festival, Coachella 2019, and then fully spiraled (in the best way) after my first EDC in 2023. I have attended over 140+ shows... I am the ultimate stage hopper and will always make it to the barricade. I love dubstep, house, trance, techno, bass, you name it. If I’m not at a show, I’m working as a social media manager & photographer, or probably listening to music, learning how to DJ, planning my next festival, or watching a Gordon Ramsay cooking show with my cat. I am so excited to be writing for Exron and sharing my love for music. If you're reading this, thanks for being here and reading my stuff!
