Rezz cancels tour and announces indefinite hiatus due to health concerns
REZZ pulls the plug on touring indefinitely as health forces the hypnotic electronic artist off the road.
REZZ has announced she is stepping away from the last 6 stops of her tour, citing serious health concerns that have forced her to cancel her remaining 2026 performances. In an Instagram story posted Monday, the Canadian DJ shared that her body had essentially made the decision for her. “The past few months my body forced me to stop,” she wrote, adding that she had long needed to pause and focus on nurturing both her physical and mental wellbeing, as well as the people closest to her.
REZZ reflected on a career defined by relentless dedication, noting that after 15 years of being fully focused on her craft and travelling the world, the toll had quietly compounded. She described pushing through recent performances despite worsening conditions, ultimately concluding that the stress of touring was making her health significantly worse. “It would be detrimental to my health to continue any time soon,” she wrote. Rezz finished her tour off strong, as one of her last performances was an epic milestone at Coachella.
The six cancelled shows are no small losses for fans. The dates include sets at Breakaway Music Festival in Columbus, Beyond Wonderland PNW in George, Washington, the legendary Tomorrowland festival in Belgium, stops in Calgary and Montreal, and what would have been a coveted Red Rocks Amphitheatre date in Morrison, Colorado, which is one of the most iconic venues in live music.
Despite the difficult news, REZZ was careful to reassure her fanbase that her love for music remains intact. “Music is still magic to me and I still have songs to release,” she wrote, framing the hiatus as a necessary step toward healing rather than a departure from her artistry.
Fans have responded with an outpouring of support across social media, wishing the artist a full and restful recovery.
Full statement: “I have to cancel my 6 remaining performances this year and am going on an indefinite hiatus from touring. The past few months my body forced me to stop. What I needed to do for a long time is take a big pause, reflect and nurture not only my body and mind, but those I love around me. For 15 years I was fully focused as an artist traveling the world, but wounds began to scrape at me until I became the most sick physically I’ve ever been these past few months. I’ve tried to push through the last few shows but it’s clear that touring and the stress that accompanies it makes my conditions far worse and has to be removed from the equation for the foreseeable future. It would be detrimental to my health to continue any time soon. I am so sorry to fans who are disappointed. You have every right to feel your own emotions towards the show cancellations. Your support through the years means so much. Thank you for everything. Music is still magic to me and I still have songs to release. For now I have chosen the necessary path for healing. To everyone who has reached out, thank you.”
