Exron Exclusive Guest Mix #067: J. Peacock

J. Peacock blends Northern Soul influences with uplifting house on new single ‘Give Me Something’ alongside this exclusive Exron guest mix.

Raised in Blackpool and influenced by the energy of the Manchester underground, J. Peacock has created a unique sound that blends old-school nostalgia with contemporary house and disco. After spending years experimenting across various dance music genres, the established musician is now leaning fully into his roots, releasing records that feel both personal and perfectly aligned with today’s UK club culture.

His latest single, “Give Me Something,” was released last month via Pomme Frite Records, marking the first release from an EP inspired by the Northern Soul records that filled his childhood home thanks to his father’s collection. The project serves as a tribute to Blackpool’s rich dancefloor culture while simultaneously modernizing these timeless sounds with soulful vocal samples and uplifting house grooves.

This blend of classic soul soundscapes and modern electronic production elements has earned J. Peacock support from respected labels such as Shall Not Fade and Dirt Crew Records, positioning him as a must-watch artist in the UK house and disco landscape. But his nostalgic track releases aren’t the only art forms that reveal the artist’s true authenticity.

In addition to the release of “Give Me Something,” J. Peacock proudly unveiled the official music video to the uplifting tune filmed inside Blackpool’s iconic Layton Institute. The venue played an influential role in his attraction to music growing up, making it the perfect backdrop for a track so closely resembling his personal story and hometown identity.

Alongside the highly anticipated release, J. Peacock has also assembled an exclusive guest mix for Exron, providing listeners with deeper insight into the tracks, soundscapes, and influences currently fueling his creative endeavors. Listen to his all-encompassing, soul-igniting guest mix below:

Just a Venezuelan gal that grew up in Fort Lauderdale chasing her dreams. I've been in love with electronic dance music for as long as I can remember, and it has become both a passion and a form of inspiration in every aspect of my life. I've been with Exron since it was founded in 2017 and have had the privilege to support and work alongside some of my best friends. Some of my favorite artists are ODESZA, Kaskasde, Above & Beyond, Glass Animals, and Rüfüs Du Sol to name a few. Traveling all over the world to attend festivals is one of my favorite pastimes, and Electric Forest, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland have been an absolute dream to experience.
