GG Magree announces decision to step down from Dead Dollz tour
GG Magree departs the Dead Dollz tour mid-run, sharing the news directly with fans via Instagram with no reason given for her decision.
GG Magree quietly announced she was stepping down from the Dead Dollz tour, the spring 2026 run headlined by Little Miss Nasty, also featuring Mimi Barks. No reason was given on her social media announcement. The Australian bass-indie-dance producer, vocalist, and actress broke the news to fans via Instagram in a brief yet emotionally charged text post.
GG Magree shared, “I hate even having to say this, but I’ve decided to step down from the Dead Dollz tour. This wasn’t a light decision. Performing is everything to me. Being on stage with you is where I feel the most alive. I know this is disappointing & I feel that with you. Truly. Thank you for riding with me, for showing up, for giving me your energy every single night. That said, the rest of the lineup are incredible artists, and they put on one hell of a show. Please still go, support them, and lose your mind the way you always do. I’ll be back. Love you.”
The comments filled quickly with well wishes, one fan writing, “Hope you’re alright. Take care and come back when the time is right for you.” The response says everything about the relationship she has built with her audience. But some fans had already connected the dots before the announcement.
A thread in the comments noted that GG Magree reportedly received only a 20-minute slot on the tour. Something fans found out only on the day of. One Instagram user shared, “The 20 min set thing was disappointing to find out the day of the show. We were going to drive 7 hours total to see her on Friday, but it was not worth the price of gas and parking, and never mind the stress of driving during traffic hour in New York for only 20 mins. We ended up not going. I was so sad.” No further comment from GG Magree or the Dead Dollz tour has been announced.
