Where is Stagecoach Festival?

Where is Stagecoach? Country music’s biggest weekend lives in the California desert, and that desert setting is only half the appeal.

If you’ve been asking yourself, “Where is Stagecoach?” after all the hubbub around Coachella, you are in luck. Stagecoach actually happens on the same grounds as Coachella, just a week later. Happening at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, nestled in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert, and only about two hours from Los Angeles. Country Music fans, who want a different taste of tea from the chaos of Coachella, take the journey into the desert each year.

Both festivals are organized by Goldenvoice and share the same 78-acre polo grounds. Stagecoach runs the weekend immediately after Coachella every April, so the stages, the layout, the desert energy, all familiar, just a completely different crowd and a completely different soundtrack. In a similar manner to the pilgrimage to Coachella, the pilgrimage to Stagecoach is roughly the same; however, it is a country music festival, so some might say it is more tame than 10 hours straight in the Yuma Tent.

Attendees got a taste of dance music with Diplo’s Honky Tonk, where Diplo plays YEEdm, along with sets from Loud Luxury, Dillstradamus, Marshmello, and a taste of Jersey from DJ Pauly D. IN 2026, the festival ran April 24–26 with Post Malone, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson headlining across three nights. The broader lineup leaned into Stagecoach’s country stronghold with Brooks & Dunn, Riley Green, Little Big Town, and Marcus King Band. Also sprinkled in were sets from Pitbull, Counting Crows, BigXThePlug, and Noah Cyrus.

So, “Where is Stagecoach?” Now you know! Empire Polo Club, Indio, California, every April, one week after Coachella, on the same grounds. It’s one of the easiest festival logistics questions to answer and one of the hardest weekends to forget.
