Watch Marco Rubio behind the DJ booth in viral wedding clip

Marco Rubio has unexpectedly gone viral after appearing behind the DJ booth in a wedding video that has spread across social media.

Marco Rubio randomly became part of dance music social media this week after a video of him behind a DJ booth at a wedding started blowing up on Instagram, X, and TikTok. In the clip, Rubio can be seen wearing headphones, standing behind the decks and vibing with the crowd while guests packed the dance floor.

A lot of people were caught off guard seeing a major political figure suddenly looking like he was about to open a pool party set. The crossover between politics and EDM culture felt so unexpected that the clip spread fast across social media feeds.

Rubio is currently the United States Secretary of State and has been one of the biggest names in Republican politics for years. Before joining President Donald Trump’s administration, he represented Florida in the Senate and also ran for president back in 2016. Most people know him from political interviews and debates, not wedding DJ booths.

That’s part of why the video took off online so quickly. Seeing someone usually tied to serious political headlines suddenly leaning over CDJs felt completely out of left field. The internet loves random crossover moments; some were not as enthusiastic about it.

The music playing in the background also helped pull in dance music fans. Reports said tracks from John Summit and Calvin Harris could be heard while Rubio bounced along behind the setup.

Whether he actually DJs or was just having fun for a few minutes, the video definitely gave social media something to talk about. For one night, Rubio traded politics for party energy and somehow became one of the week’s strangest viral moments.

Hey everyone, I'm Neil! I first joined the dance community back in 2019 when my friend dragged me to Moonrise, my first-ever music festival, and I became hooked ever since. I like to dabble in most genres with my favorites being tech house and melodic techno. When it comes to studio output, Camelphat is part of my daily listening rotation and for a live performance, I'll never miss a Solomun set. You can likely catch me on the dance floor somewhere in Brooklyn!
