Sub Focus and GRiZ announced as Do Lab surprise guests for Coachella weekend 2

Sub Focus and GRiZ delivered surprise Do LaB sets that kept Coachella weekend two locked into high gear with that bass energy.

Sub Focus and GRiZ appeared as special guests at the Do LaB on Friday for weekend two at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, adding two high-profile EDM acts to the highly-awaited lineup at one of the festival’s most unpredictable stages.

The announcement reinforces the Do LaB’s role as a home for bass music within Coachella. It’s also the place where many surprise guests end up. The stage is known for pulling in artists from across the festival grounds, creating pop-up moments that draw large, fast-forming crowds.

Sub Focus brought his iconic drum and bass sounds built for peak festival energy. His sets are typically structured around momentum, with tightly mixed transitions that keep audiences engaged throughout. He has a strong following as fans have came to love his fast-paced sets.

GRiZ, meanwhile, offers a contrasting style rooted in funk, bass and live instrumentation. His performances often blend DJ elements with live musicality, creating a looser, more dynamic feel that still gives off a strong crowd impact. He has become a familiar presence at major festivals, where his sets regularly draw large, enthusiastic audiences. GRiZ’s recent hiatus has made his appearances this year even more special. Both DJs are great EDM combo to add-in to the Coachella festivities.
