REZZ cancels Coachella weekend 2 performance due to health issues

REZZ has announced a performance hiatus following physical burnout.

REZZ is stepping back from the stage for a bit to prioritize her health after pushing herself to the limit. The news was shared days before her anticipated Coachella Weekend 2 performance, which she expressed great pride in, having planned to build on the success of her Weekend 1 set.

She released a candid statement via social media to communicate the difficult news to her fans. REZZ shared that she had to cancel her performance because her “body [had] been whispering for a while that [she needed] a real break, but [she] continued to push thinking it would be fine.”

Fans attending Coachella’s second weekend expressed a mix of sadness and deep empathy regarding the cancellation. Flooding her channels with support, many acknowledged that health concerns are a priority and can escalate if left unaddressed. As she shared in her statement, “I have to put my health first, as things going on need to be addressed. I’m really sorry to anyone who may be disappointed.”

REZZ continued, “I love u all, hope you understand. It’s gonna be a process for my healing. Thank you Coachella I’m grateful I got to perform last weekend. Now it’s time to focus on my health.”

While some fans were lucky enough to experience the show in person during Weekend 1, REZZ confirmed that those who missed out will be able to watch the full set on YouTube “sometime soon.”

For now, the electronic community stands behind the producer as she takes the necessary time away to prioritize her long-term well-being. Make sure to look out for REZZ’s full set, which will be released on the official Coachella Youtube page in the near future. For those who were not able to witness the magic of Coachella, DJ sets by Max Dean b2b Luke Dean as well as Max Styler have been uploaded and are ready to watch.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists include Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Gorgon City, Prospa :)
