Tiga releases first studio album in a decade
Inside ‘HOTLIFE’: Tiga’s Long-Awaited Return to the Album Format.
On April 17, Tiga released his first full-length album since 2016, ‘HOTLIFE.’ The project arrives via his own imprint, Turbo Recordings, in collaboration with Secret City Records. His fourth studio album spans 12 tracks across 60 minutes, which Tiga himself has described as his “best album to date.”
‘HOTLIFE’ was preceded by singles including “Ecstasy Surrounds Me,” “Silk Scarf” (feat. Fcukers), “Hot Wife” (feat. Boys Noize), and “Friction,” all of which were well received by listeners. The album features a global roster of collaborators, including Boys Noize, Matthew Dear, Fcukers, MRD, Gesloten Cirkel, Paranoid London, Maara, as well as hometown contributors Priori and Patrick Holland.
Although this marks his first full-length album in a decade, Tiga has remained active in the electronic music community through singles, EPs, collaborations, and global touring. He has performed at major clubs and festivals, including Sónar Festival, Berghain, and Tomorrowland. The album arrives shortly after his appearance on the Quasar stage at Coachella, reinforcing his continued presence across multiple eras of electronic music.
Born in Montreal, Tiga first encountered electronic music through the 1980s club scene in India, where he developed an early appreciation for its transformative power. After returning to Montreal in the early 1990s, he helped shape a new wave of nightlife in the city. He co-founded Sona nightclub, which became a cultural hub for forward-thinking dance music, and in 1993 introduced Montreal’s first rave, Solstice rave 1993. In 1998, he launched Turbo Recordings, further establishing himself as a developer and supporter of electronic music talent. Over the course of his career, he has built an ecosystem that has helped shape not just the sound, but the culture of electronic music.

On ‘HOTLIFE’, Tiga delivers a stripped-back, high-impact body of work rooted in electro and techno, combining hypnotic vocal repetition with a renewed energy that aligns with the genre’s current resurgence.
Tiga has U.S. tour dates and festival appearances confirmed, including EDC Las Vegas, Movement Detroit, HARD Summer, ARC Music Festival, Deep Tropics, and iii Points Festival.
