Kappa FuturFestival brings fine dining to the dancefloor with Taverna Futurista

A New Culinary Experience Blends Gastronomy, Art, and Electronic Music in Turin

The internationally recognized electronic music festival, Kappa FuturFestival, held in Turin, continues to evolve as a global immersion of music, design, culture, and food, especially with the debut of Taverna Futurista. The experience will be part of the festival’s three-day program from July 3–5. Taverna Futurista adds a new dimension to the event, reinforcing that cuisine is a key part of the festival’s ecosystem by bringing Michelin-starred chefs into the heart of the experience. The project is led by creative directors Jacopo Dosio, Wine Director for the Ceretto family’s restaurants, and Paolo Vizzari, a respected gastronomic narrator and curator.

Taverna Futurista is inspired by Italian Futurism. The three-day program blends formal seated lunches with standing evening dining experiences. On July 3, Davide di Fabio of Dalla Gioconda will begin the program with a formal lunch menu. He is known for his Italian cuisine rooted in modern approaches and gastronomic history. In the evening, the experience transitions into a Palermo street food concept by Tiziana Francoforte.

On July 4, lunch will be led by Francesco Brutto and Chiara Pavan of Venissa, a Michelin-starred and Green Star-awarded restaurant. Dinner will follow with a Venetian bacaro concept by Brutto and Pavan, bringing their Venice roots to life through food.

On July 5, lunch will be presented by Enrico Crippa of the three-Michelin-starred Piazza Duomo. Dinner will close the program with a Piedmontese piola by Dennis Panzeri, chef of La Piola in Alba.

Crippa says, “I have always looked at Kappa FuturFestival with curiosity and interest. Bringing my cuisine to a music festival for the first time stems from the friendship and respect I share with Gigi, Juni, and Gian Luca. Taverna Futurista will be an opportunity to express my culinary vision in a new context, where music and emotion meet.”

This addition complements the festival’s six-stage production, which spans techno, house, and experimental artists within the post-industrial park known for its distinctive steel structures and open-air layout.

Taverna Futurista will be accessible to all festival ticket holders, with reservations recommended due to limited capacity.
